Tier 1 Investor Visa Extension
You may be able to apply for Tier 1 Investor visa extension as long as you apply before your current visa expires. You should include any dependants who are on your current visa on your application to extend – including children who have turned 18 during your stay.
How do I extend my Tier 1 Investor Visa?
In order to extend your Tier 1 Investor visa it is essential to establish that you:
- have at least £2,000,000 under your control in the UK
- have invested those funds in share capital or loan capital in active UK companies
- invested this sum within 3 months of your ‘investor start date’ – the timing of your application is very important because delays of investment caused by you failing to take timely action will not be accepted by the Home Office. If you need more information on Tier 1 Investor visas, please Contact Us.
Please note that the investment funds cannot be invested in UK government bonds after 29 March 2019.
